FORI Avocat·e·s SA advises professional athletes, clubs, agents and sports organisations on all matters relating to their activity. We negotiate and draft players' and coaches' contracts, transfer and loan contracts, representation, sponsorship and image-rights contracts, and handle questions of status and transfer governed by the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP) and the FIFA Football Agent Regulations (FFAR). Several of our lawyers hold the FIFA football agent's licence, enabling us to approach these operations from both a legal and a market-practice standpoint.

Our firm also assists its clients in contractual and disciplinary disputes, before the judicial bodies of national and international federations – in particular the FIFA Football Tribunal (Dispute Resolution Chamber, Players' Status Committee and Agents Chamber) – then before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne and, where appropriate, before the Federal Supreme Court. We also act in matters of disciplinary sanctions, questions of governance and the functioning of sports associations, and in proceedings relating to integrity and doping.

Thanks to a practice that combines Swiss civil and labour law with international sports regulation, and to concrete knowledge of the players in professional sport, we offer fast, operational support. The deadlines of sport – registration periods, appeal time limits before the CAS, competition calendars – call for responses within a few days, sometimes a few hours, which our organisation makes possible.
