Céline Sana-Oppliger
Profile

Céline Sana-Oppliger practises in all areas of civil law.

She is particularly active in family law, a field in which she has solid experience gained both within a specialised firm and over fourteen years as a legal counsel at the Civil Court of Geneva. In that capacity, she worked on a great many matters in matrimonial proceedings (measures for the protection of the marital union, divorce proceedings by joint request and unilateral petition) as well as in proceedings arising from parentage law (parental rights and maintenance claims).

Céline also has in-depth expertise in contract law, succession law and civil liability, as well as in handling complex financial and banking matters.

Holding a Certificate in mediation, she favours an alternative approach to conflict resolution.

She has sat on the Carouge Municipal Council since June 2020.

In January 2026 she joined the Conciliation Commission for Tenancy and Rent Matters as a lay judge.
